Working in Film and TV has fascinated Inka for nearly all of her life. At the age of 16 she was accepted into Helsinki City College of Technology to study Audiovisual Communications in Digital Media. Throughout her studies, Inka worked on a wide range of projects always focusing on editing, as well as effects and color correction. She graduated with valuable experience from her internship in a post-production house in Australia and a job offer as an assistant in-house editor.

Inka wanted to educate herself further and as she always wanted to live abroad, Inka did some research on universities in English speaking countries. After browsing the courses she found the most suitable one on London Metropolitan University; Film and Broadcast Production Hons, BA.

Assistant editors tasks include running and maintaining the editing systems, supporting the whole of the post production and working closely with the in-house as well as the out-of-house teams. These tasks were her responsibilities in the employment and Inka picked up a great deal of important elements in post-production. Due to her previous experience as an in-house edit runner and intern Inka has gained positive attitude towards working independently, guided or non-guided as well as in a team. Understanding technology has helped her to get a thorough understanding of the film and TV post-production process.

Inka has spent hours and hours in dark edit suites and absolutely loved it; though things can be repetitive Inka has always had a good eye on detail and been able to work to tight deadlines.
